About Garnette Leather Company
Garnette Leather Company comes from many years of hard work, dedication, and faith-fueled nights. Founded and ran by Millissa Garnette, the company itself takes pride in being as low waste as possible while bringing magic into the mundane.
Millissa Garnette, Owner & Founder
Millissa has been focused on leather for over five years, though her primary focus since 2025 has been GLC. Prior to GLC, Millissa spent many years practicing and perfecting many other artistic mediums. She has also worked in schools, alongside raising her daughter, and ultimately does her best to help the world be a better place.
With Garnette Leather Company, Millissa does her best to bring people back to the whimsy of childhood. Life is tough, but a bit of magic and imagination can help turn any day into something enjoyable.
Millissa's favorite book is the Bible alongside the Quran, she loves the color orange, and her favorite past-time is investigating and learning different topics.
Ellie Lerum, Intern & Socials
While new to the leather industry, Ellie has been a creative worker as long as she can remember. Alongside working at GLC, Ellie runs a small business with her husband, Phillip, doing art, games, and books. Through her trials, she does her part to help others know that they're not alone despite what others may say.
Whimsy is no stranger in Ellie's life as she and her husband raise their two little girls; fantasy is throughout the house between creatures they create together, folklore from various cultures that Ellie studies, and imagination as they make costumes.
Ellie loves Rick Yancey's Monstrumologist series, the color pink (neon, preferably) and spends her free time wrestling her daughters and telling fantastic stories to the public.
Logan, Loki, & Cricket: HR & Complaints
Our shopcats provide the ultimate HR experience, especially in their various methods of dealing with problems. Logan will always soothe your hurts, offer condolences and cuddles during the hard part of the day. Loki (the other tabby) will judge you until you have been properly shamed for the wrongdoings you've committed. And Cricket? Cricket will help you forget the problems through the use of teeth and claws.
